How it works

  1. 1

Drop in one wide design. We'll work out how many screenshots it makes.

  2. 2

Pick your device size, then adjust the number of screenshots and the crop.

  3. 3

Download a zip of numbered PNGs, ready to upload.

Why split one image

Screenshots that flow into each other invite people to keep swiping. A phone or a line of text that crosses from one screenshot to the next hints that there's more to see. That only works if every piece lines up, so we cut them from one image.

Make your design as wide as the set: for three iPhone 6.9" screenshots, that's 3960 × 2868.

Ready to upload

Every screenshot comes out at the exact size you pick, as a PNG with no alpha channel, because Apple and Google Play both refuse see-through screenshots. Apple allows up to 10 for each size, and Google Play allows up to 8.

Questions

What size should my wide image be?

The width of one screenshot times the number you want, at the same height. If yours doesn't match, we'll crop it and let you choose what stays.

Can I use the same set for both stores?

Usually not. Google Play doesn't allow a long side more than twice the short side, and current iPhone sizes are taller than that. Choose Google Play phone to make a set that fits.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your designs never leave your device.

Can it split images that aren't screenshots?

Yes. Choose Any grid and pick up to 10 rows and 10 columns. Each piece keeps your image's full quality and any transparency.
