Tappy vs Sleek
Both design mobile apps from a prompt. Tappy gives you a bigger free start, a built-in design review, and a React Native project to take away.
Free to start. No card needed.
The short version.
Where Tappy pulls ahead of Sleek.
Sleek is an AI designer for iOS and Android apps, used by 60,000+ app makers by its own count. It designs every screen in one style and exports Figma layers and web code.
A real free start
Tappy's free plan has 450 credits, unlimited apps and every export. Sleek's has 60 one-time credits, 1 project and 3 screens.
Native code to take away
Tappy exports an Expo project in React Native, linked up like your prototype. Sleek lists React with Tailwind, or HTML.
Feedback built in
At Tappy's default level, each new screen is reviewed from a real screenshot. Then send a link, and testers draw right on the design.
Feature by feature.
Tappy and Sleek, side by side.
“Not listed” means we couldn't find it on Sleek's public pages on 4 November 2026, not that it can't be done.
What it costs.
Checked 4 November 2026.
These are regular prices. Sleek is running a sale until 7 November. A new Sleek screen uses about 30 credits, the same as Tappy's Quick level. Tappy's Studio level, the default, uses about 225, because it does more work on each screen, including the design review.
Professional, not vibecoded.
With a design review built in.
AI can get a screen most of the way there, then leave the mistakes a designer would catch in seconds. At Studio level and above, Tappy looks at a real screenshot of each new screen, reviews it like a design lead, and fixes what it finds. These are real catches, not mock-ups.
From Tappy's review of Sprout & Sip
“Pip's row was broken. The ‘1 day overdue’ chip squeezed the plant name and room to nothing.”

Tappy's design rules also rule out the habits that give AI designs away:
- Gradient text
- Purple-to-blue gradients
- Neon glows
- Sparkle icons and “AI-powered” badges
- Emoji used as icons
- Decorative blobs
- Charts with no labels
Real Tappy designs.
Each app gets its own type, colour and layout.

When Sleek might suit you better
- You want coding agents to drive the design. Sleek offers a REST API and an agent skill on Pro and Team.
- You design at very high volume. Sleek's yearly Pro plan works out cheaper per credit.
- You want React with Tailwind rather than React Native.
Good questions.
Is Tappy better than Sleek?
For taking a mobile app from idea to tested prototype, we think so: you start with more free credits, your screens get a design review, testers can draw on your design, and you leave with React Native. Sleek is stronger if coding agents are doing the designing.
Is Tappy cheaper than Sleek?
On monthly billing, Tappy's Starter is $19 and Sleek's is $29 for the same 3,000 credits. Sleek's yearly plans cost less per credit, and Tappy doesn't have yearly plans yet.
Can I move from Sleek to Tappy?
Yes. Drop in a screenshot of a design you like and Tappy matches its style, or paste your brief and start fresh.
