Refund policy
Last updated November 4, 2026
Credits you've used can't be refunded, because each run uses AI computing we pay for as it happens. Within 14 days of buying, you can get back what you paid for credits you haven't used. If something breaks on our side, we'll make it right.
1. Used credits aren’t refundable
Every run uses AI computing that we pay for as it happens, so credits you’ve used can’t be refunded. That includes runs whose result you didn’t like. In those cases, try an edit or a variation instead.
2. Credits you haven’t used
You can ask us to refund the credits you haven’t used yet within 14 days of any purchase, whether that’s a plan payment or a credit top-up. We’ll refund the unused share of what you paid. If the purchase was a plan payment, the refund also cancels the plan.
After 14 days, purchases aren’t refundable, but you can keep using the credits as described when you bought them.
Free credits have no cash value and can’t be refunded.
3. When something goes wrong on our side
Sometimes a run fails because of an error on our end or an outage, and still uses your credits without giving you a result. If that happens, tell us and we’ll put the credits back. You’ll also get a full refund if you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount.
4. Cancelling a plan
You can cancel a plan at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t refund the rest of a billing period, except as described in section 2.
5. How to ask for a refund
Email hello@usetappy.app from your account’s email address. Tell us the date of the purchase and what happened. We usually reply within two business days. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, and they usually show up within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
6. Before you dispute a charge
Please contact us first, because we can fix most problems faster than a bank dispute can. If a charge is disputed, we may pause the account while the dispute is open.
7. Your rights under the law
If consumer law where you live gives you more rights than this policy, those rights still apply, and this policy doesn’t limit them. This policy is part of our terms of service.
